About - Welcome.

Welcome. is a community of Christian women committed to creating a movement of Christ-like welcome in our country.

We believe:

  • All people are made in the image of God and deserve love and care.
  • Christians are anointed and called to be peacemakers everywhere we exist.
  • We don't all have to agree on politics or policy to engage in Biblical hospitality in our churches, homes, and communities.
  • Christ unites us and calls us to deeper places of welcome and love.
  • Fear is a liar and we are called to brave spaces that bring glory to God.
  • Jesus never stops inviting; therefore we shall seek to do the same.

We are dedicated to diving deep into the whole of Scripture to understand God's love for the immigrant and refugee. We believe He calls us to a radical love for the vulnerable, the outcast and the forgotten. Our community is on a journey to understand Biblical hospitality is an authentic way. Therefore we seek to learn, engage and grow more like Christ in our welcome towards the sojourner.

The Welcome. movement was founded in 2017 and is a collaborative partnership between:

  • World Relief
    • The official relief and development arm of the National Association of Evangelicals.
  • The National Immigration Forum
    • A non-partisan non-profit working to find positive immigration solutions with faith leaders, law enforcement and businesses around the country.
  • We Welcome Refugees
    • A digital community of Christians dedicated to welcoming immigrants and refugees, founded by Anne Voskamp and Vickie Reddy.
